By accessing arlaang's website and services, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you disagree with any part, please discontinue use immediately.

2. Services Description

arlaang provides professional linguistic services including:

  • Document translation
  • Interpretation services
  • Localization
  • Transcription
  • Proofreading and editing

Service scope, pricing, and delivery timelines are confirmed in individual project agreements.

3. Client Obligations

Clients agree to:

  • Provide source materials in agreed formats
  • Ensure content legality and ownership rights
  • Provide necessary context and reference materials
  • Review and approve deliverables within agreed timeframes
  • Make timely payments as per agreements

4. Intellectual Property

Client Materials: You retain all rights to source content. You grant us license to process materials for service delivery.

Translated Content: Upon full payment, all rights to translated content transfer to you.

Our Property: Our website, branding, translation memories, and methodologies remain our exclusive property.

5. Confidentiality

We maintain strict confidentiality of all client materials:

  • All translators sign NDAs
  • Materials are not shared with unauthorized parties
  • Secure file handling and storage protocols
  • Data destroyed upon project completion (upon request)

6. Quality & Revisions

We commit to delivering high-quality translations. Our revision policy:

  • Free revisions for errors or deviations from instructions
  • Revision requests must be submitted within 14 days
  • Changes to original instructions may incur additional charges
  • Stylistic preferences should be communicated upfront

7. Payment Terms

  • Quotes are valid for 30 days
  • 50% deposit required for projects over $500
  • Balance due upon delivery
  • Late payments incur 1.5% monthly interest
  • Disputed portions do not delay undisputed payment

8. Cancellation Policy

  • Cancellation before work begins: Full refund
  • Cancellation during project: Payment for completed work
  • Rush orders: 50% cancellation fee applies
  • Completed work: No refunds

9. Limitation of Liability

Our liability is limited to the project fee paid. We are not liable for:

  • Indirect or consequential damages
  • Lost profits or business opportunities
  • Errors in source materials provided by client
  • Unauthorized modifications to deliverables
  • Delays caused by client actions

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify arlaang against any claims arising from:

  • Infringing content you provide
  • Your violation of these terms
  • Third-party claims related to your use of translations

11. Dispute Resolution

Disputes will be resolved through:

  1. Good faith negotiation (30 days)
  2. Mediation if negotiation fails
  3. Binding arbitration under New York law

12. Website Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the website for unlawful purposes
  • Attempt unauthorized access to systems
  • Interfere with website functionality
  • Scrape or harvest data
  • Transmit malicious code

13. Modifications

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be communicated via email.

14. Severability

If any provision is deemed invalid, remaining provisions continue in full force.
